Lifting and transport T&Cs,
Applicable to all contracts between
GSM haulage and crane hire, = party A
The customer/client, = party B
1. All contracts undertaken by party A, are subject to the RHA and CPA standard terms and conditions (see below icon/links) unless agreed in writing by party A and party B.

2. Although the utmost care is always applied, party A will not be held responsible for any damage caused by lifting or transporting items that suffer from age/damage related deterioration.

3. Party B is responsible for ensuring that correct weights and measurements are given at time of booking, party A reserve the right to cancel without refund if there are unworkable discrepancies.

4. Cancellation policy. Any cancellation or postponement of contract by party B within 2 working days of completion date will be subject to full payment of contract

5. Party B is obliged to provide the goods which are to be transported in a proper condition necessary for the execution of the transport.

6. For loading and unloading purposes 1 hour for each will be included free of charge after which a fee of £50 per hour will be charged,
7. Party A will not be held responsible for any delays caused by the authorities when obtaining a movement order (for abnormal loads only)

8. Boat transport responsibilities of party B
8.1 All batteries and gas bottles to be disconnected
8.2 Fuel quantity can not exceed 500 litres
8.3 All hatches windows interior doors etc to be locked.
8.4 Radar arches domes antennas lights etc to be removed and safely stowed/secured
8.5 Windscreens to be removed and safely stored
8.6 Bimini rails and stainless steel poles must be secured or removed prior to transport
8.7 Canvas canopies are to be removed and stored safely
8.8 Party a will not be held responsible for any damage or breakables from the inertia, party B is fully responsible for securing everything on the inside of the boat

9. When operating under the industry standard RHA terms of carriage all goods are insured to the level of £1300 per tonne and we highly recommend that party B obtain a transport insurance contract with there insurers to cover the difference for the period the goods/item are in transit
